These guys are awesome we were going to get four brand new tires for a used car we bought instead we found out they had gas it was blown the guys down at City tire saved us a lot of headache by telling us the bad news the guy that sold the car is off of route 20 in Worcester Southwest cut off terrible place p&G Auto what but City tire really took care of us in an emergency even through on a used tire in the front I would highly recommend them for anything there for the customer not the price truly truly honest people I commend you my hats off to you God bless should be more people like this garage in the world
I always have a great experience here. No one ever likes the surprise of tire repair/ or purchase but these guys really make the experience better. Fast, friendly and reliable service. And I low key have a crush on the older guy at the front desk because he always looks out for me (in a professional manner) thank you!
On a Friday trip to Amherst, my brakes failed in front of the Mount Holyoke College main gate. I could stop the car if I didn't exceed 30 MPH, so I cautiously navigated the Notch with flashers. Friends led us to City Tire, where Rich took over. My car is a 2006 SAAB, so finding the necessary part was not easy. He called many places and ordered a part, which did not arrive until Monday. As soon as it did, his team went to work and had us on the road back to Boston by 3 PM, at an incredibly reasonable price. We understood why our friends recommended City Tire. Amazing service
Came up from Long Island and just before we got on the Orient Point ferry, got a low tire pressure warning on the dashboard. Having a trip of 400+ miles ahead of us up to Northern Maine, we found the city tire Co. online as a place with great reviews and just 2 miles from the ferry terminal in New London. We pulled in and, I believe it was the manager, John LaBrecque, who told us he would take care of it. In about 1/2 hour, John advised that the job was done, and when I went to pay him with my credit card in one hand and a $10 bill as a tip in the other hand for the technician who repaired the tire, he said “just give me the $10 and we will call it even”. I told him I had intended to give the $10 cash as a tip to the technician, and he just smiled, took the $10 bill, gave it to the tech, and said to me “we’re even“. It is no wonder at all that this place has gotten such great reviews. The $10 or so that it cost the company is a small price for them to pay for the wonderful goodwill they generate.
